• Fire and heat: Most textiles are flammable; avoid open flames, candles, sparks, and hot appliances.
• Sharp elements: When handling pins/needles, avoid pricking and damaging clothing; always secure unused needles.
• Magnetic parts: Keep away from payment cards and sensitive electronics; persons with implanted devices should maintain a safe distance from strong magnets.

Proper and Safe Use

• Appropriate tightening: Bow ties and ties must not restrict breathing or blood circulation; for children, use only safe, easily releasable fastenings.
• Tying and position: Tie so that the knot does not exert excessive pressure on the neck; secure long tie ends to prevent catching.
• Catching and injuries: Do not wear ties/bow ties when working with machinery, on escalators, bicycles, or during sports, or choose short, firmly fixed solutions without loose parts.

• According to the label: Follow care symbols; silk and wool require gentle washing or dry cleaning.
• Temperature and chemicals: Avoid high temperatures and aggressive cleaners that may cause shrinking, deformation, or color bleeding.
• Drying and ironing: Dry flat away from sunlight; iron according to material (silk with a protective layer at low temperature).
• Metal/magnetic parts: After contact with sweat or salt water, wipe dry to prevent corrosion and staining of clothing.
• Storage: Store flat or rolled to avoid fabric creasing and permanent folds; protect from moisture.

Specific Health Warnings

• Allergies and sensitive skin: Dyed textiles and metal elements (e.g., nickel in clips) may cause reactions; discontinue use if redness or itching occurs.
• Pressure and abrasions: Prolonged pressure from knots or tight fastenings may cause discomfort; loosen or change fastening type/material.

Disposal

• Sorted waste and textile collection: Deliver textile parts to textile collection points; separate metal/magnetic components. Safely wrap sharp parts (needles/pins).
